Have you ever heard of the marvelous and astounding Andrew Rolfe from New York? Well he is an awesome Managing Director for Tower Brook. This investment company aims to catapult capabilities and independent business growth in the businesses they invest in. Tower Brook invest both through their organized Opportunities Fund and also Private Equity Funds, which allows them to reach a range of different various opportunities throughout each investment cycle. Not just that, but Rolfe is also the Chairman of the Ubuntu Education Fund which is a non-profit social welfare, food, health, community outreach and education organization that is situated in the city of Zwide in wonderful South Africa. Hitting the Beat with Cassio Audi

We all have an aspect of life least known to the rest of the world. Cassio Audi is a man of Brazilian origins who is incredibly proud of being at one point in time a member of the Viper’s Band. Before ever getting training in matters regarding economics, Cassio Audi was headlining digital and print media in Brazil in the 80’s as the mast drummer for the Viper’s Band. So incredible were his beats that the numerous albums created by his band were able to sell above and beyond. Although the band was short-lived, Cassio together with his band mates was able to impact the entertainment industry in Brazil and the rest of the world at the time positively.   Working together with individuals like Hugo Mariutto, Pit Passarell, Felipe Machado, Andre Matos, and Guilherme Martin, the Viper’s Band was able to move from bar room performances to international concerts. In the 80’s all you could hear in Brazil was Cassio Audi and his Band Viper. Some of the prominent albums released by the group at the time include Coma Rage, the Theatre of Fate, and Soldiers of Sunrise among many others. The songs mainly centered on the pop and rock genre. Eva Moskowitz’s Success Academy Scoops The Broad Prize Of $250,000

Eva Moskowitz, the founder of Success Academy charter school network, received the Broad Prize for Public Charter Schools. The award ceremony, which was held at the National Charter School Conference in Washington, D.C, saw Success Academy receive $250,000 grant. This money will be used to support college-readiness programs for students at the institution. Success Academy is a deep-pocketed school that receives overwhelming support from affluent people in the hedge fund sector. In 2014, the academy generated $60 million in revenue. However, Eva was grateful for the $250,000 grant, which she said was a vital recognition of the charter’s work with undeserved children. She added that the Broad Prize acknowledges that students from low-income households can achieve like or better than their counterparts from wealthy suburbs. Eva Moskowitz was scheduled to announce the official launch of the Success Academy Education Institute, which will teach the school’s tricks of the trade. The project is however not linked to the Broad Prize and it will feature a free access of reading curriculum on a digital platform. Eva Moskowitz serves as the CEO of Success Academy Charter Schools, which ranks as the best-performing public charter school network in NYC. Omar Yunes Takes Top Prize at Best Franchise of the World Competition

Omar Yunes, franchisee for Sushi Itto took the top prize in the Best Franchise of the World (BFW) competition. The BFW competition spans 34 countries including places like Italy, Portugal, France and Mexico. Yunes started as a franchisee when he was only 21 years of age. He now owns 13 franchises. These are located throughout Mexico in cities like Mexico City, Puebla, and Veracruz. His franchises now equal 10 percent of the total units in the network. Omar Yunes won first place in the national chapter. His offerings were how to achieve better management of information.. He also presented how to implement a control board so there could be a more clear measure of each unit’s performance. After winning first place in his region, he went on to win overall. Benjamin Cancelmo is the CEO of Sushi Itto and he commented in an article in Entrepreneur.com that, “We consider these awards as a manifestation of the joint effort to offer our customers excellent service, a remarkable flavor, and unique hospitality.” In this competition franchisees are assessed in several areas. These include knowledge of the network, how motivated the employees are, the overall knowledge of the franchise, how much money raised, and improvements to the network itself.
